A hard day’s work for the internet is given real world context

A phenomenal info-graphic from an organisation called Online Education puts the internet into context which we guarantee will make you even more addicted.

The infographic includes such gems as: the internet deals with 210 billion emails being sent daily, which is the equivalent to an entire year’s worth of snail mail in the US.

Not to mention the 900,000 new articles posted by bloggers every day could fill The New York Times for 19 years.

And the three million images uploaded to Flickr every day would require a 375,000-page photo album.

It’s all fascinating stuff from Online Education, a site which specialises in ‘stuff they don’t teach you in college’. It’s well worth following Online Education’s thought-provoking take on the world on Twitter.
